Naivní divadlo v Liberci

As part of an open call for Naivní divadlo's visual identity, it was important to build on its history and the legacy of Jan Schmid. The iconic orange colour and the distinctive “little y” mark were preserved. The identity responds to the theatre's wide range of activities with an expanded colour palette that visually tells them apart. A key element is the typography, inspired by Schmid's handwriting from his posters — a digital typeface with alternate characters, digitized by the FungiType foundry.
